AAF Season Opener Agency Crawl:

A Toast to Collaboration, Creativity, and Crawling Through Spokane!

September 16th, 4:00 p.m. – The clock struck agency o’clock. A few of us from KELLYBRADY hit the West End of downtown Spokane like a well-planned media blitz. What better way to kick off the AAF season opener than with an Agency Crawl that blended business, brews, and bites?

Our first stop? Colormatics. This powerhouse of creativity welcomed us with open arms—and maybe a few envious stares as we prepped for a full afternoon of networking (and snacking, let’s be honest).

The mood was set: we were here to mingle, mix, and make connections that would power up our work in ways a good campaign always does.

Stop 2: The Woodshop

After the kickoff at Colormatics, it was time to charge on to The Woodshop. The space at the Woodshop is light, modern, and airy – plants dot the workspace, and fun art inspires the eye. Speaking of which, they invited everyone to paint their own “square” in a black-and-white graphic mural. The camaraderie was real, and we quickly realized how many brilliant minds from Spokane’s ad world had gathered in one spot.

Stop 3: Whistle Punk – Raising a Glass to Creativity

It wasn’t a long trip (it could have been just a trip and fall – if you weren’t watching your step – actually), as Whistle Punk Brewery and Heritage Bar & Grill are directly downstairs from The Woodshop! Of course, we couldn’t help but make more friends there – chatting up the folks from Edible Inland Northwest Magazine – who were handing out drink tokens and their beautiful magazine filled with gorgeous photography! Drinks flowed, the laughter echoed, and the conversations kept getting better. There's something about a cold beer that really gets the creative juices going. Networking + beer = collaboration magic.

Stop 4: KHQ-TV – Lights, Camera, Collaborations!

Next up, we sauntered over to KHQ-TV. With cameras, lights, and the smell of potential creative partnerships in the air, we were ready to see what Spokane’s media world had in store. We caught up with some clients, took photos in front of a screen with an ad we were running for them, and discussed some of the magic happening in TV advertising.

Stop 5: Brick West – Wrapping Up in Style

The final stop on our Crawl brought us to Brick West, a spot that’s always buzzing with energy. The perfect place to round off the evening and meet a few more connections. A new voice-over artist for a future collab? YES! A new partnership with an international video production company? YES! Who knew the combination of great craft brews and top-notch agency folk would spark so many exciting new possibilities?

Cheers to Collaboration!

We couldn’t be more excited about collaborating with the fantastic organizations that hosted this year’s Crawl. The AAF season opener reminded us how important it is to connect with the local ad scene. Here’s to more crawls, more partnerships, and, of course, more snacks. Until next time, Spokane!
